Nintendo had more than a few interesting announcements during their recent Pokemon Direct, but perhaps the most interesting was the reveal of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. At long last, fans are getting the open-world pokemon game they’ve been dreaming of since the very beginning!

Is Gears 2 Coming Back?
An interesting picture just showed up on the official Gears of War twitter page, one that looks kind of familiar if you ask me. It looks like something from an older Gears game. In fact I’d say it looks like something from the best Gears game. Here, check it out!
Resident Evil 7 HAS UNLOCKABLES!!
I recently finished my first playthrough of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and I have to say that I kinda wish I hadn’t sat on it for so long. Its savory combination of tension, puzzles and exploration wound up being something I’d been looking for for quite awhile now, and it took actually finding it to…
PlayStation 5: FOMO No Mo!
I few weeks ago, I spent some time talking about the PS5, specifically the somewhat irrational desire to buy one. As always, new consoles are exciting, so many of us can’t help but want to get our hands on the newest tech as soon as possible. I managed to keep my excitement controlled enough to…
Lots of New Video Released for Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139
The Nier remake: Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 (referred to as “Neir Remake” from here on), is only a couple months away from its April 23 release date. This probably wouldn’t have been all that exciting back in 2016, but then that was before Nier Automata hit the gaming scene. That game really stuck a chord…
Diving Into Resident Evil 7 (Finally)
For the longest time, I’ve lived as a quasi-fan of the Resident Evil series. With the exception of Resident Evil 6, I’ve always found myself excited whenever a new one was announced and more than happy to watch friends play through them. However, I’ve never been of a mind to actually play a Resident Evil…
Maquette Has a Release Date!
Maquette was first-announced almost a year ago now, and I honestly kind of forgot about it for awhile. With the usual packed release schedule and the general craziness of 2020, I suppose it was rather easy for a quirky indie game to get lost in the hustle of it all. All that said though, Annapurna…
Finding the Drive to Play
I’ve been blogging about games for about 10 years now (holy cow!) and I can definitely see myself going for another 10. It’s kind of amazing how much has changed in gaming over those 10 years, and honestly I can hardly believe it sometimes. I’m also sometimes surprised that I’m still into gaming enough to…
DT Project Looks Interesting If Nothing Else
Digisky, a relatively new developer based in China, has announced “DT Project,” their very first AAA game. Now to be totally honest, my impression of China-developed games isn’t very good. The only stuff I’ve noticed come out of that space is mobile gacha-style games to stuff like Genshin Impact…another gacha-style game that also happens to…
Animal Crossing is Kind of Amazing
The rain is already back in my (current) part of the world, and rain always gets me thinking about Animal Crossing. Well, not Animal Crossing itself, but the rainy day theme from the original game. I can’t help but wander back to it whenever the first rain of the year shows up, and that’s usually…
