Nintendo recently released a video concerning the newest updates coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons!  In just a few days (July 3, to be more exact!), the diving introduced in New Leaf will be returning, along with Pascal the otter, who will be providing us with DIY recipes for mermaid furniture.  And…it appears that Gulliver is a pirate now?  Not quite sure what’s going on there, but I’m looking forward to finding out.

This is just “wave 1” of the updates, with “summer update #2” coming out some time in early August.  It is here that I’d like to ask you, dear readers, what you would like to see in the August update.  Personally, I’d really like the rococo furniture to return, an upgraded store, and for The Roost cafe to become a new building we can add to our islands.  (I already have a spot picked out on the beach in the event that this becomes a reality.)

In the meantime, I’d also like to ask a quick bonus question: how have you guys been spending your time between updates?  Me, well, I’m almost done with October….
