To almost no one’s surprise, the Dead Space remake has been selling incredibly well. I mean, who would have thought that a remake for an iconic, award-winning and currently dead series would be popular? Well apparently not EA, because the company is now sending out surveys asking people if they’d be interested in remakes for the other two games.

According to MP1st.com, users over on Reddit have been getting survey messages asking them if they’d be interested in remakes for the two sequels. This is of course no guarantee that the games will get made, but it does show that EA is interested in the idea. Personally, I wouldn’t be interested in more Dead Space remakes.

I really don’t feel like it’s necessary. Instead, why not use the interest generated with this latest game and channel it into Dead Space 4 at last? It’d be much more interesting to see the story fully and finally wrapped up 10 years after EA unceremoniously killed both the series and its maker: Visceral Studios.
