Alright, so this isn’t exactly breaking news, but I wanted to take a minute to bring more attention to it anyway. First, I’ve become a huge Among Us fan in the past couple of months, so I’m excited that other people are going to get the chance to play it! Second, I just think this news is kind of amazing on its own.
First off, I love the fact that Among Us is now on Switch in addition to PC and mobile devices, and the fact that it’s coming to Xbox is even better. It’s great to see a small project like this blow up, especially something this genuinely fun. It’s also exciting for me personally because all of my friends are spread out amongst all the various platforms. There are almost no games that we can all play together, so having the completely cross-play capable Among Us available on so may platforms is extremely exciting to me! (Now if only I could just get them to sit down and play! 😡 )
Secondly, as many people are aware by now, the team at InnerSloth only has three people. It’s an extremely small studio, and they’ve not only managed to update and improve their game over the past few months, but they’ve also nearly completed TWO console ports! That’s amazing! I can’t believe how much work those guys are putting in! I just hope that it all continues to be rewarded! They deserve the success, and the industry as a whole is in dire need of good role models right now. Keep it up guys, but don’t overwork yourselves!
