At long last, it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 is (hopefully) within reach. It’s been quite a long wait since the game’s initial reveal, and now that wait’s about to pay-off. Will the game live up to the insane hype? Honestly, I don’t think so. I’m certain it’ll be excellent, but there’s no way it’ll reach the crazy expectations so many people must have by now. Anyway, CD Projekt Red dropped some new trailers! Let’s check them out!
We all know that cybernetic upgrades are going to be the key to advancing our character in Cyberpunk 2077, and this video is here to put an exclamation point on that. Even so, I wonder if there’s a “no upgrades” path to follow. I’m sure it would mean missing out on a lot, but I still think the idea of a non-upgraded person making it to the top of Night City would very interesting in a world where conventional wisdom says otherwise.
It looks like our custom characters won’t be looking out of place in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 either. There’s apparently 4 main styles to follow, but I wouldn’t be surprised if mixing and matching is allowed. As a ancient human from 2020, I think it all looks rather…much (or too slobbish in the case of “entropism”), but then that’s the future for you, I guess.
I’m not one to get excited for cars, but I have to say that I’m at least looking forward to seeing what we can do with these on the streets of Night City. If there’s a good reason to try and acquire one those “hypercars,” then perhaps I’ll actually make a run for them. Still, I kind of wonder why the most notable innovation in vehicle technology appears to be the addition of a third axel. Perhaps there’s more going on under the hood?
Are you still looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077? What path will you take?
