Ghost Of Tsushima Gets Surprise Multiplayer Mode

So, it’s been a few weeks since Ghost of Tsushima launched and it’s done quite well for itself. The game has received all kinds of praise, and it’s sold well to boot. One would think that all would be said and done after that, but it turns out that Sucker Punch had other ideas. Instead of kicking back and getting their next game started, they surprise everyone with a big, free add-on for their already stellar game. Way to go, guys!

Ghosts of Tsushima: Legends will be a separate mode from the main campaign. Players won’t be fiighting alongside each other as Jin Sekais from various alternate universes, but rather brand new characters who’ve been sucked into this strange world of Japanese myth and legend. Players will have their choice of either a two-player story mode or a four-player horde mode, and they’ll be able to participate in both as any of four classes. These classes include the Samurai, Hunter, Ronin or Assassin. What kinds of mythical enemies will they be taking on? I guess we’ll have to find out later this year.

What do you think of Ghost of Tsushima so far? Will you be giving this new mulitplayer mode a try?
