Final Fantasy VII Remake is still several month away, but there’s good news for all us eager fans: there’s a demo on the way! It doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s coming. Ah well, at least the game’s opening movie leaked online. Check it out below!

It really is incredible how far we’ve come in the last 20 or so years isn’t it? Heck, just these past 10 years have been incredible. So much has changed, and I think this opening movie perfectly exemplifies that. Ten years ago, the prospect of a faithful remake of Final Fantasy VII was the stuff of well…fantasy. Sure, Square-Enix remade Final Fantasy VII’s intro as a PS3 tech demo back in 2005, but they were absolutely adamant that they weren’t going to revisit the game. Yet, here we are at the start of 2020 and not only is it a reality, but it’s coming out in March! Check out this footage and take some time to think back my fellow gamers; we’ve come a long way over these past several years, and the future is still looking bright!
