Fans of the original set of Dragon Quest games are in luck, soon they’ll be able to enjoy all three NES titles on Switch. Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line, and Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation will be hitting the Nintendo Switch eShop on September 27.
Fans should note that these are simply ports, not remasters or remakes. Even so, pricing differs from game to game. Dragon Quest will sell for $4.99, while Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line will go for $6.49, and Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation will set buyers back $12.49. Neither Nintendo or Square Enix gave a reason for the difference in price, but perhaps it’s due to the difference in scale and features between each game. Even so, this should still be a great opportunity to relive some great moments in JRPG history.
Are you psyched for these ports? What do you think the differences in price are about?
