Okay, so this trailer is about a week old, but I still wanted to point it out a bit. Even as someone who hasn’t played much of the previous entries in the series, I’m actually looking forward to Metro: Exodus. I might not get it right away, but am still looking forward to it. And this trailer shows a lot of what I find interesting about the universe. It’s a world where the surface is a scary and dangerous place, and one where the focus is in Russia, a place that isn’t often visited in video games. Check it out below:

Main protagonist Artyom has already been through quite a bit over the course of Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light. He’s left his home in the underground metro system, inadvertently destroyed a race of mutants, faced-off against post-apocalyptic nazis and bolsheviks, got married and now has to leave the metro behind entirely with a child on the way. Normal life definitely has nothing on what this guy has to deal with.
Metro: Exodus is out for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 15.
What do you think of the Metro series? Gonna check this one out?
