Resident Evil 2 (Remake) is Already Getting a Free Update

Resident Evil 2 (Remake) is already off to great start filled with both critical and commercial success. Horror fans are thoroughly enjoying the game, and its about to get even better. Capcom announced Monday that Resident Evil 2 will be getting a free update on February 15, one that will add three additional stories exploring the live of some of Raccoon City’s less fortunate residents.

Capcom may not be perfect, but they’ve been handling just about everything outside of their fighting game franchises quite well. This is exactly what a good remake should do: stay true to the original as much as possible while also leaving room to explore avenues left untouched in the original. These stories might not have been begging to be told, but its great to see them available nonetheless. What’s more, it seems these characters are certain to meet their end; that’s a whole new kind of suspense right there!

Are you enjoying Resident Evil 2 (remake) so far? Looking forward to checking these stories out?
