Listmas 2018: Games I Want to Play Next Year

Last week, the Duck talked about games I didn’t get around to playing in 2018.  In my final Listmas post, I shall be looking to the future and listing the games I plan to play in 2019!  There are some pretty good ones coming up this year….

Ori and the Will of the Wisps: Not too long ago, Cary recorded her blind playthrough of Ori and the Blind Forest, a very beautiful, but challenging, game on XBox and PC.  In 2019, a sequel is planned that I’d really like to play if given the chance.  Of course, if it’s as difficult as its predecessor, who knows if I’ll be able to complete it….

SCP: Containment Breach (Unity Remake): Though the Unity remake of this rather interesting horror game is still under development, and I have played through Alpha version 0.5.8, I look forward to revisiting this game multiple times in the future as new updates are released.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate: Though I started playing this game when it was released several weeks ago, I know I’ll be playing it long into 2019!

Luigi’s Mansion 3: The urgency to get a Switch doubled when I found out that there was going to be a third Luigi’s Mansion!  I loved the original game on the GameCube, and I’m so excited to finally get to join Luigi on yet another ghost-filled adventure (on a console, anyway)!

Kingdom Hearts 3: I asked for a gift card for Christmas so that I can buy this game the moment it comes out!  I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am!

Now it’s your turn, dear readers, to share your thoughts in the comments below.  What games are you the most excited to play in 2019?  Oh, and merry Christmas!
