For the month of April, we thought it would be fitting to cover all the silliness gaming has to offer. For the Duck’s first post of the month, I thought I’d talk a little bit about a rather wacky series I recently had the pleasure of playing, Crash Bandicoot.
We’re all familiar with this goofy, spinning marsupial, but have you heard of…Trash Bandicoot? Based off of a cruddy looking toy, Trash Bandicoot has big teeth and eyebrows and originally appeared in Crash Bandicoot: Warped. Now, with the release of the N. Sane Trilogy, you can spot this guy in all three of the original games once you’ve gotten 100%. In each appearance, he’s just casually doing a funky dance, without a care in the world.

I have to admit, though, that his appearance in darker locations like Totally Fly and Area 51 was more than a little spooky. If I spotted this guy at night, I think I would run….
I didn’t know that! That’s so funny! I like that they embraced him! He’s playable in CTR!

Yeah, I think it’s pretty funny that they were inspired by a badly made toy. Go, Naughty Dog, for a great sense of humor!
