It was only a matter of time. Once a game gets the remaster treatment and releases for current consoles, the release of the sequel(s) and/or a bundle becomes an inevitability in this era of constant remasters and remakes. Ahem at any rate, like its predecessor, de Blob, de Blob 2 has been remastered and will soon be released for Xbox One and PS4.

Aside from updated visuals, the game is more or less the same as it was when it originally launched back in 2011. Players can take on the game solo or with a friend and paint their way through several formerly-colorful biomes as they work to free the citizens of Prisma City from the evil (and drab) Papa Blanc. Doing so will require some platforming skill along with liberal use of the various powers and transformations available to Blob (the blob). Will you spark the next color revolution?
Crazy amounts of remakes/remasters aside, this was fun back in 2011 and it’ll probably be just as fun now for those who didn’t get a chance to try it yet. Anyone planning on trying it out?
