PowerWash Simulator 2’s Next DLC is Taking Fans to the Galaxy Far, Far Away

In this current era of Star Wars, I didn’t think anything related to the brand would get me even the slightest bit psyched again. What can I say? The way Disney has handled the property has been massively disappointing (to say the very least). But, here I am, ready to go back in one more time because rather than explore some hackneyed new story, I just get to clean up some of my old favorites.

As seen above, Star Wars is coming to PowerWash Simulator 2 this summer. The description says that players will get six new cleaning jobs as part of the package, and it looks like three of them involve cleaning an X-Wing, the Mos Eislely cantina and maybe a Star Destroyer bridge? Honestly, I’m really hoping to get a mega-project like we did in PowerWash Simulator 1 with that giant Warhammer 40k ship, but this is a good start. Like, I’d almost unironically like to have to clean up a Star Destroyer or rebel frigate you know?

Another awesome location would be something like the Emperor’s throne room on the second Star Destroyer or maybe even Jabba’s palace. There’s a lot of things worth cleaning when it comes to classic Star Wars. Heck, some prequel locations like the Jedi Temple or the Senate chamber would be cool too; I just don’t think they’re as iconic. (And yeah, I’m really hoping nothing from Disney Star Wars makes it in. Nothing in those movies was cool or iconic).

The whole package will be selling for $9.99 on release, and that actually sounds worth it. Well, it’s worth it if you like cleaning stuff, that is. After this, though, I’m probably gonna be fine with putting Star Wars away for good. It had a good run, but nothing lasts forever, right?

Break

Are you psyched to do some Star Wars scrubbing in PowerWash Simulator 2? How do you feel about Star Wars as a whole these days?
