Like a lot of people, I love collecting cool merch for my favorite games. At first, I really only bought the occasional plush or Funko. When I first really got into collecting game merch, however, was when I happened upon a cool site called Fangamer while on the hunt for a physical copy of Undertale. I mean it, if you’re into quality gaming merch, especially for indie games, then Fangamer is the place to go. Each order even comes with a free random sticker, pin, and postcard (though, that’s been starting to become less consistent over the years…)! Of course, Fangamer has the usual plushies and t-shirts and figurines and posters, but for the sake of this post, I’m going to be listing some of the more unique merch for Undertale specifically, as that is the game that brought me to the site originally. (Just want to make it clear that this post is NOT in any way sponsored by Fangamer. I just think they have some cool stuff!)
- Undertale Collector’s Edition: The most obvious option would be the Collector’s Edition of Undertale, which comes with the game’s awesome soundtrack and a musical locket, among other things. It’s available for PS4, Switch, XBox One, and PC, so pretty much anyone can play it! I have this particular edition of the game, and the extra goodies are pretty cool!
- Throw Blanket: I’d say this blanket is pretty cool, but then again, blankets are meant to be warm, so… This is a preorder item, but I’d think any Undertale fan would like this blanket, which includes all of our favorite characters!
- Sans Hoodie and Toriel Slippers: Here’s a good combo of items for someone who likes to be cozy, a hoodie like the one worn by everyone’s favorite pun-loving skeleton and some Toriel slippers (which are a preorder item, by the way). Sure, you could seek out some pink slippers to really match Sans’, um, unique fashion sense, but these slippers are much cuter.
- Stationery Set and Cross Stitch Kit: This particular pair of gifts is more hands-on. The stationery set is quite cute and includes two notepads, stickers, two pencils, and whatever the heck washi tape is. I’d be tempted to buy this for myself, but then again, it’s so cute, I probably couldn’t bring myself to actually use it. There’s also a cross stitch kit that comes with 20 patterns showcasing various Undertale characters, with 11 colors of embroidery floss included.
- Lesser Dog Scarf: This silly scarf resembles the Lesser Dog. You remember him, right, the dog whose neck stretches longer and longer the more you pet him? It’s a goofy gift for fans of an equally goofy game.
- Grillby’s Mug: Another practical gift, Christmas mugs seem to be a rather common gift idea, so why not get someone a nice mug from Snowdin’s very own Grillby’s?
- Vinyl Soundtrack: Records seem to be in right now, and Fangamer has a whole bunch of video game soundtracks available for those who enjoy listening to their music in a more retro fashion. This set includes the whole Undertale soundtrack, which includes 109 songs (plus, you get a digital copy of the whole soundtrack, as well).
