It’s looking more and more like 2022 is going to be a massive year for gaming, and the game kicking-off its flurry of major releases is FromSoftware’s Elden Ring. The latest title from the Souls-borne studio drops this Friday, and fans couldn’t be more hyped. Well, maybe those who’ve seen the latest trailer couldn’t be more hyped. For everyone else, here’s some more gameplay to send those hype levels even higher.

Elden Ring is definitely going to be a different beast in comparison to all the Souls-borne games, but it’s still almost certainly going to be another tough-as-nails experience at the very least. Is it something new players can get into? Probably. I’m thinking I’d like to try it, and I’ve spent the last decade shying away from the series in its entirety (save for like 2 hours of Bloodborne). What can I say? This one looke interesting to say the least, and it’d be nice to be in on all the memes for a change.
