New Screenshots, Art Shown for Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Nintendo showed-off quite a few interesting things during last week’s Nintendo Direct. There was video for Splatoon 3, revivals of old cult classics like Klonoa and Front Mission, and even new footage for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. This game in particular was already interesting, and it only got moreso with the new video and transformations shown in the recent trailer. Seriously, check it out if you haven’t already.

Well, now there’s actually more where that came from as Nintendo recently released even more art and screenshots to promote the game; you can see them right now over on Nintendo Everything. All I can really say is that I’m actually rather psyched for this game to come out at the end of next month. I mean, this could very well be the series reinvention that we’ve all been waiting for! The fully 3D exploration, the interesting settings and the crazy transformations all speak of a game built for exploration and experimentation. Really, there’s a genuine sense of adventure on display here, and I find myself actually eager to jump in and try it all!

Don’t get me wrong, Kirby has definitely been alright in these post-N64 years, but despite all the admittedly creative things Nintendo has done with the pink puffball over the years, there was nothing about any of it that screamed “must play!” to me. Kirby and the Forgotten Land though…this one has my attention. What about you?

Seriously, what do you think? Are you psyched for it? What was your take on the last several Kirby games?
