It looks like there’s a particularly interesting surprise waiting for those who manage to obtain 106% completion in Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. It seems that the series’ current developer, Toys for Bob, may already be working on the next Crash Bandicoot sequel. A very interesting image has surfaced showing the TV from N. Sanity Beach at the beginning of the game. Usually there’s nothing special showing on the TV, but that apparently changes if you manage to hit the 106% mark.
As seen in the image above, once 106% completion is achieved, a new image will display on the TV. It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with anything in Crash 4, so current speculation holds that this is some sort of hint at the next game. Check out the close-up below.
As seen here, the image depicts a Wumpa Fruit with some sort of spinning orange and blue graphic surrounding it. This could mean any number of things, but I’ve got a couple of ideas. For one, Crash and Coco will be back since orange and blue are basically their colors. I’m also guessing that the fruits are going to be much more important they’ve been in the past since the fruit is what the colored shapes are revolving around. Perhaps something happens to the fruit supply, sparking a Crash and Coco to go on a new adventure in search of them.
Whatever the case, it’s interesting that Toys for Bob is already teasing it. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for the official reveal!
