Switch owners have been enjoying Panzer Dragoon: Remake for a little while now, and fans on other platforms will soon be able to enjoy it too. This should come as good news for many older gamers out there, since Panzer Dragoon has enjoyed cult-classic status for a couple decades now.
The Twitter post specifically named the PC and PS4 in the announcement, but Xbox-based fans don’t need to worry about being left out; the developer later clarified that Panzer Dragoon: Remake will be coming at a later time. As for the former two platforms, fans can expect to see the game release for them on September 26.
Personally, I haven’t played any of the Panzer Dragoon games as they’re a little outside my typical sphere of interest. I’m more into adventure/RPG/FPS and puzzlers than I am arcade shooter-style games. They can be fun every so often though, and there’s a reason gamers have been talking about Panzer Dragoon for 20+ years. If you have even a passing interest in the genre, perhaps this one to check out.
