Despite suffering a pretty terrible launch (not to mention a controversial stay in early access), it looks like Compulsion Games’ We Happy Few is still hanging in there. The game will be getting a new expansion next week, titled “We All Fall Down.” As the name implies, the tenuous situation in Wellington Wells is about to come crashing down.

Based on the trailer, it doesn’t look like fans can expect to see much in terms of gameplay additions once this expansion hits the game. Instead, “We All Fall Down” appears to be a fully story-based add-on that explores just what would happen to a town whose populace has been addicted to a borderline hallucinogenic drug for waaaay too long. Is it enough to bring new players into the game? Probably not, but it’s at least worth looking at.
