YouTube Highlights, Weekly Edition #42

Hi everyone! Thanks for joining us today, as it’s time for some more YouTube Highlights! But before we get to all the fun (and oh, there is plenty!), we have a somber matter to discuss concerning our channel. Recently we received a number of distressingly inappropriate comments on a couple of our videos. We first attempted to deal with the situation in a courteous manner, but it didn’t help, and the comments only became more numerous and hate-filled. As such, we took swift action against the insolent commenters. Due to these recent events, we have chosen to start moderating all comments on our YouTube channel, and we will continue to do so until we feel safe allowing public comments again.

While we know that rudeness on YouTube is as common as weeds are in a garden, it’s no excuse for harassment, which we will not tolerate in any form on any of our outlets – the site here, YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter. Our goal in being a “virtual bastion” is to provide a safe and inclusive online place to discuss the thing we love most: video games. We’re happy to be friends with others who want to be friendly within that same space, and we will always strive to maintain positivity and community around gaming.

So, even though we’re going to be keeping a close eye on things for a bit, it’s still business as usual. Because the videos must go on! If you want to converse with us here, on YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter, we’d love to hear from you. And with that, it’s time for the highlights!

Banjo-Tooie

In the grand world of Banjo-Tooie, the most recently paid a visit to Grunty Industries.  We can only imagine the vile surprises that mean ol’ witch left in her wake! If nothing else, the building could use a good cleaning, no matter it’s “fancy” decor. Thankfully, it’s Banjo and Kazooie to the rescue!

Nostalgic Notions

This past week, I covered one of the most classic games around for “Nostalgic Notions.” It was none other than Dig Dug! While I’ve seen Dig Dug in action plenty of times, this actually marked the first time I had ever played it for myself. And boy, does it ever show!

Thanks for watching, and join us next week for the next video wrap-up!
