YouTube Highlights, Weekly Edition #30

Hello lovely readers, one and all. It’s Friday, and I bet you’re wondering what’s been happening on our YouTube channel…? Well look no further, because it’s time for another YouTube Highlight’s post! This is our weekly series where we share just some of what we’ve been doing gaming wise. In keeping with our theme this month, “Tricks, Treats, and Feats!” do we have them all right here! You’ll learn a well-known trick in the classic game, Galaga! You’ll be treated to a good ol’ time in one of the best 3D platformers ever made, Banjo-Kazooie! And feats abound as The Duck takes on bosses left and right in Mega Man X!

As always, if you enjoy what you’re watching here, why not leave a comment or hit that “like” button? Every ounce of support helps! Also, if you’d like to find all our playlists here in one handy-dandy place, you can also click the Video Bastion link at the top of the page.

Nostalgic Notions

This week in Nostalgic Notions, I got to revisit one of my all-time favorite games…GALAGA! This classic take on Space Invaders (with a twist) is nothing short of a good time. That doesn’t necessarily mean I’m good at it, but it’s still loads of pretty, pretty fun!

Banjo-Kazooie

Now, if you want to talk about having a good time with a great game, you need only watch The Duck of Indeed’s playthrough of Banjo-Kazooie! She made excellent progress last week in not only finishing up things in Clanker’s Cavern, but also conquering Bubblegloop Swamp, further exploring Grunty’s maze-like lair, and chilling out in the game’s fifth level, Freezeezy Peak.

Mega Man X

In case you hadn’t heard, The Duck of Indeed is also gracing the channel with a raucous Let’s Play of Mega Man X. One by one, the bosses are falling as she learns the ways in which to defeat them. Watch here as she takes on Flame Mammoth and Spark Mandrill in battles to end all battles!

Thanks for watching, and join us next week for a new video wrap-up!
