A new trailer has emerged for Ghosts n’ Goblins Resurrection, and the game’s definitely still looking as tough as it always has. The dead are rising once again and I guess only Arthur and his absolutely worthless suit of armor is the only one up for the task. Hopefully this time around all the weapons will be usable instead of only the knife.

I suppose there’s not actually all that much to say about this newly-made version of Ghosts n’ Goblins. It looks absolutely beautiful compared to the older versions and it’s probably going to be that much more unforgiving. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be trying this one since getting mobbed by enemies and constantly dying doesn’t really appeal to me. What can I say? I’m not particularly good at these sorts of games. This one at least has several difficulty options, so maybe even someone who sucks at these sorts of games (like me) could enjoy running through it.

Also, what’s up with Arthur’s armor? I’ve never understood why it flies off the second an enemy bumps into him. Seriously, how worthless is your armor if it can’t even take one good knock? Arthur doesn’t even wear a decent shirt or pair of pants underneath! If I knew my equipment was only good for one hit, you can bet I would have at least something on underneath besides my undies!

Anyway, Ghosts n’ Goblins Resurrection is sure to please existing fans and probably gamers who enjoy testing themselves against overwhelming odds. It’s already on the Nintendo Switch, but it’s coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime soon.
