Little Nightmares II is Coming Next Year!

After two years of thinking that Tarsier Studios’ Little Nightmares was going to be a one-off kind of game, it turns out that’s not the case at all. Little Nightmares II is coming soon, and it’s looking like it’ll be even more unsettling than the original.

Six has returned from her adventures in the original game, but this time she’s not alone; she’s not even the main character! Instead, that distinction will be going to a little boy named Mono. This boy is trapped in a world warped by the sounds emanating from the imposing Signal Tower. Escape doesn’t seem to be an option this time, so all Mono (with Six in tow) can do is press on towards the tower while avoiding capture.

Neither character is entirely helpless this time either. Mono an Six can work together to overcome major obstacles, and Mono has the ability to use certain items when things get hairy. Stealth will likely still be the best option most of the time, but it sounds like there will be options available to them should they be discovered. No solid release date yet, but Tarsier has stated that the game is due out sometime in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

What did you think of the original Little Nightmares? Are you excited for the sequel?
