It’s been about two years since Nier: Automata originally released, and PlayStation 4 owners are finally getting the all-in-one version. There wasn’t any real need to wait for this version since there’s only one piece of DLC, but better late than never, eh?

Nier: Automata is a game worth waiting for. Science-fantasy; cool combat; surprisingly deep RPG mechanics, and existential crises are all present here. It’s a crazy combination that should never work, yet it does so with flying colors. Personally, Nier: Automata was one of my absolute favorite games from 2017. It’s absolutely a game worth experiencing even if it sits outside your usual preferred genres. There’s been a free demo available on PS4 since the game originally launched two years ago, so do yourself a favor and give that a try a the very least. You’ll be very glad you did.
