YouTube Highlights, Weekly Edition #31

Is it the end of the week already?! Not that we’re complaining, but it seems that time really does fly when you’re having fun. And we’ve been having loads of fun! Between our Trick, Treats, and Feats posts and our ongoing Let’s Plays, October 2017 is so far a month to remember. Speaking of which, since it is Friday and all, it’s time for us to remember our week in videos. What “trouble” did we find ourselves in? 🙂 Oh, just a little oddball retro gaming, with a dash of bird feathers, bear fur, and a heaping side of mega blaster! You’ll see just what we mean in the videos below!

And as always, if you want to see more, just head over to Virtual Bastion on YouTube. Join us any time for great games galore!

Nostalgic Notions

If you’ve never heard of the arcade space shooter Bosconian, don’t worry, neither had I until I actually played it on Namco Museum, Volume 1. It’s an interesting and challenging game that never really answers the question of “what DOES ‘Bosconian’ mean??” Just goes to show that some questions are better left unanswered.

Banjo-Kazooie

From snow-capped mountains to desert valleys, The Duck of Indeed covered a lot of ground this past week in Banjo-Kazooie. Check in with her here as she draws ever closer to Grunty’s Lair!

Mega Man X

Those who have played Mega Man X know that it’s not the most casual of platformers. You’re going to need some drive and determination to beat the game’s bosses, let alone simply reach them in the first place! The Duck of Indeed is proving that practice makes perfect when it comes to this classically demanding platform game.

Thanks for watching, and join us next week for a new video wrap-up!
