YouTube Highlights, Weekly Edition #26

Aren’t you glad it’s Friday? We certainly are, because it means that it’s time to bestow upon the electronic world another YouTube Highlights video!

But before we get too carried away, we need to acknowledge something quite special that happened on our channel this week…

WE REACHED 100 FOLLOWERS!!!

Oh yes we did! And we couldn’t have done it without you, you, and yes…YOU! Our hearts go out to all of you who helped us reach this wonderful milestone. 🙂 As such, we now have a “named” YouTube URL: youtube.com/VirtualBastion (though the old link still works as well). Please keep those likes and comments coming — let us know how we’re doing and if there’s anything you’d like to see us play! We’re always up for suggestions.

Let’s keep that excitement meter up as we roll out this week’s highlights!

Super Mario Galaxy

If you thought The Duck’s playthrough of Super Mario Galaxy was over once Bowser got his comeuppance, think again! She’s been happily on the hunt for purple coins, which is no easy task. Join her as she travels back and forth between stages loved and…less loved.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask

This past week in Majora’s Mask saw a couple major events. One, The Duck obtained the all-powerful Fierce Deity Mask, and two, she then battled with none other than Majora’s Mask! And without the Fierce Deity mask, too! Even so, there’s still more Majora’s Mask to come, and you’ll just have to watch to find out what!

Nostalgic Notions

And finally, rounding out our highlights this week is the start of our newest entry in our classic gaming series, “Nostalgic Notions.” Yes, I’m playing through bits and pieces of games from the Namco Museum compilations, and I hope you’ll join me in my retro frenzy each Sunday! First up, it’s Pac-Man. Need I say more? (Probably, but I won’t. IT’S PAC-MAN!)

Thanks for watching, and join us next week for a new video wrap-up!

Congratulations on reaching 100 followers! 🙂 Whenever people talk about ‘zen’ games like No Man’s Sky nowadays, I always think back to games like Super Mario Galaxy… that was my ultimate chillout game (if not a little psychedelic)

Thanks much! 😀 And that’s so true about Super Mario Galaxy — it can be truly trippy at times. But that’s part of its topsy-turvy charm. It’s a wonderfully innovative Mario series, as much fun to watch as play!
