Do you hear that? The sounds of furious typing and hasty scribbling as holiday lists are made? While jingle bells may herald the arrival of candy in stockings and presents under a decorated tree, it’s these list-making sounds that we look forward to every year, for they mean Listmas is upon us once again!

Here at Virtual Bastion, we’ve been celebrating this December blogging “holiday” for several years, and it remains a favorite event. As the name says, Listmas is about making and sharing lists; and in our case, the lists focus on anything and everything gaming! Short lists and long lists; fun lists and serious lists; lists with numbers, letters, or bullet points; all lists are “game” during Listmas. And this year, we’re celebrating Listmas with a “no limits” theme. That’s to say, we’re going to be sharing lists throughout the coming month about whatever games and gaming topics stoke our individual flames! We hope everyone reading will join in the Listmas fun, too, either in our comment sections or elsewhere on the Internet. No site or feed is too big or small for the likes of a good list!

We’ll kick off Listmas here on Sunday, December 7th, and it’ll run through the end of the month. Be sure to stick with us when the new year hits, too, as we’re going to start 2026 with retrospective (including GOTY) and most-anticipated posts.
