Games Leaving Game Pass in March 2025

We’ve once again reached the start of a new month, and that means more games getting rotated in and out of the various console subscription services. This month, Xbox’s Game Pass service is seeing eight more games depart, some more notable than others. Fans will still be able to get them a la carte, but the opportunity to just give them a try through Game Pass has, indeed, passed.

The games leaving Game Pass in March 2025 are:

  • Evil West
  • Lies of P
  • MLB The Show 2024
  • No More Heroes 3
  • Solar Ash
  • Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated
  • Yakuza 5: Remastered
  • Yakuza 6: The Song of Life

Actually, there are quite a few high quality titles leaving the service this month, with it being particularly poor timing for Yakuza 5 and Yakuza 6 since Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii just released to great praise and popularity. Evil West and Lies of P are all great standouts in their genres from what I hear. I’ve never played them myself, but they sound like titles worth checking out on sale at the very least.

As always, games leaving the service has me thinking about whether or not it’s something that’s truly valuable to the player in the long run. Especially now, with Nintendo also starting to remove games from Nintendo Switch Online, I find myself thinking that these services, just like the likes of Netflix, Disney Plus and Hulu are just more unnecessary subscription services meant to get you to waste your money. Far better to just buy what you want outright (and keep it) than to endlessly sample temporary content, you know?

What do you think of the games leaving Game Pass this month? How are you feeling about subscription services these days?
