Palworld Could Be Hitting the PS5 Before Too Long

Palworld was perhaps the first big hit of 2024, with the game more or less taking over the internet for a good three weeks or so. The hype has died down quite a bit since developer Pocket Pair is still working on the game’s next installment of DLC, but it’s still a game worth following in the meantime. For one thing, Palworld may not remain an Xbox/PC exclusive for very long.

According to WcctTech.com, Pocket Pair’s CEO has discussed bringing the title to new platforms in the past, and, recently, the company’s Global Community Manager, in a recent X post, seemingly hinted very strongly that the game will be coming to PS5. These aren’t even close to official announcements, but it should still be good news to those non-Xbox/PC owners who are hoping to give the game a try sometime.

Considering that Palworld is still in Early Access and assuming that Pocket Pair only has a timed-exclusivity kind of deal with Microsoft, it *would* only be a matter of time until the game made its way over to PS5. It only makes sense. I don’t know how well it’d do since the initial hype has worn off, but then it’s not a live service game, so perhaps it doesn’t need continued interest in order to do well.

What do you think of Palworld? Would you give it a try if it came to PS5?
