I don’t usually do much research when I download demos. They’re free, so there’s really nothing to lose but a little bit of time. With that said, I didn’t expect much from The Jumping Donut, and I didn’t get much, either. I guess I’d kind of describe this game as a puzzle-platformer. As the name implies, you play as a constantly rolling donut (that is, weirdly enough, described in the description as “juicy”) that can do nothing but jump and change directions when it bumps into a wall. Your goal is to navigate the platforms without falling off. It’s a really simple game, but I suppose it did require just a tiny bit of thought to plan out my next move.
I don’t really see anyone wanting to buy this game (nor do I believe the claim of 27 “exciting” levels), but if you are very bored, The Jumping Donut costs $3.49. But before you get too thrilled over that low, low price, the game seems to last roughly 10-15 minutes in total. In case you’re still not deterred, if you’re wondering where you can get this game, I only saw it on the PlayStation Store. No idea if it can be found elsewhere or not…
