The end of the month is fast approaching and that means it’s about time for more games to rotate on and off the Xbox Game Pass. There are a total of six games departing this month, so if you have Game Pass, you might want to consider giving these a try before you have to pay full price for the privilege.
Most of the games leaving this month are actually a pretty decent mix of shooters, puzzlers and RPGS. So, I’d actually consider this to be a real loss for the service. Here’s the full list:
- Broforce
- Darkest Dungeon
- Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem
- Maquette
- Death’s Door
- Anuchard
All of these are still going to be available on the Xbox Marketplace, so it’s not like they’re going anywhere, but it’s still unfortunate. Even if these do get replaced, I still think it makes the Xbox Games Pass service less attractive overall.
I understand that the whole point of the service is that you’re buying access to games rather than “owning” a license to play them outright. But, it still seems to me that the money would be better spent just buying fewer games to keep rather than shelling out every month for lots of games that are going to go away eventually.
What do you think? Does a rotation system like this make these subscription services less attractive to you? Does it matter
