With 2018 nearly at an end, we’re spending this week listing the games we wanted to play, but didn’t get around to. The Duck’s list is going to include games released in 2018, plus a few others.
Final Fantasy XV: To start, yes, I have still not bought this game, despite it being released two years ago. I have been buying every main Final Fantasy game since 10 (minus the online ones), so this is still on my to-buy list, even if it’s not a huge priority compared to other games on this list….
Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom: I was really looking forward to this game’s release, having loved the original game on the PS3…and then the release date came and went, and I was not in a position to buy it. Hopefully in the near future…
Spyro Reignited Trilogy: As I had mentioned in the past, I am trying to catch up on all classic retro games. I was able to play the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy earlier this year, and now, once I can spare the extra money, I’ll finally be able to play the original Spyro trilogy!
Deltarune: Otherwise known as Undertale 2, I am so excited to play this game in the near future, considering I absolutely loved the original game! I’ve been doing my absolute best to avoid spoilers. Hopefully this is something I can manage for just a little while longer….

Mini, World of Final Fantasy Maxima, and Spyro are the ones I really wanted to try but haven’t had time to get to them yet.

I’m really excited for Spyro. Over the years, I’ve been trying to catch up on a lot of the classic PS1 games, and the original Spyro trilogy are some of the last few PS1 games I really want to play.

There are certainly a lot of exciting games out there. This list just includes the main games I want to play…but if I do a little research online, I usually end up finding countless more games I want to check out!

I’d never played the Spyro games before, but they were a lot of fun. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Darksiders 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are all games I’d like to get to some time next year. Don’t think I’ll get to them this year unfortunately.

I had always heard good things about the original Spyro games on the PS1, but up until now, I had only played some of the later entries in the series, which ranged from okay to not good at all. I’m really excited to play the remade Spyro trilogy, hopefully early next year if all goes well.
